I’m Jo owner of Beckside spa retreat. I am super excited to announce that it will soon be open to existing and new clients. Watch out for our launch dates. Beckside spa retreat is where you can come to relax and unwind. choose one of our gorgeous spa morning or twilight pamper packages that includes using the facilitates relaxation area, alfresco dining area, swim up jacuzzi spa pool, and sauna. Relax and absorb the views of the alpacas and be at one with nature. All our packages include use of our facilities see above, 30 minute treatment, a choice of antipasto platter, afternoon tea, firewood pizza. A glass of whispering angel, goddess fizz or vitamin smoothie and unlimited non alcoholic drinks. HOW DID I GET HERE?
I Qualified as a beauty therapist in 1994, My first job was working as a therapist in a leisure centre and further setting up a business in the late 1990’s (purity body and beauty) where I further went on to study holistic therapies. After having a break from the beauty industry to raise my daughter. I decided to change my career to work for the NHS and later Qualifying as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. I have always had a keen interest in the beauty industry and not dissimilar to nursing I am enjoying making a positive difference in some way, whether it is boosting self -esteem , confidence and instilling peace and tranquillity. I have always being passionate about maintaining a good skin care routine, and never fell out of love with beauty.
That is why…
I returned to the beauty industry a couple of years ago, training in Aesthetics and I have recently trained and completed the educational training in Dermalogica skincare range and introduced it into to elegance one and now Beckside spa retreat. The products give great results and leave your skin feeling amazing which is what I want my clients to feel when they have visited us.
