Me and my daughter visited Beckside just after Christmas and it was amazing. Jo provided us with a warm welcome and showed us around. There were healthy juice shots and chocolates on arrival and we had our own basket containing fluffy dressing gowns, slippers and blankets, all wrapped around a cosy hot water bottle!

The hot tub is huge and over looks amazing views and the alpacas which come to the fence to say hello!

Our skin was glowing after a lovely relaxing facial and then we had delicious pizza, salad and fizz followed by a selection of sweet treats.

This spa is a truly unique experience and Jo has paid attention to every tiny detail to make it extra special.

We’ll definitely be back again

Had such an amazing experience at Beckside Spa Retreat. The minute we walked in we were blown away, Such a beautiful space in a beautiful setting. Treatments were super relaxing, the afternoon tea was beautiful and the facilities are truly wonderful. Jo is an amazing person and a fabulous host whose attention to Detail is next level.

We would Highly recommend Beckside spa Retreat and cannot wait to return for our next spa day. I’m already planning it.

Wow, what a place!! An absolute hidden gem. If you’re thinking about booking here, make sure you do – you will not be disappointed! We were perfectly looked after, waited on hand and foot as soon as we arrived. We both chose the beck, neck and shoulder massage with Jo and it was great. We spent the rest of our afternoon drinking fizz in the hot tub and then watching a Christmas film. Nothing at all was too much trouble and we even got to feed the alpacas which was an absolute treat!

The food was so good and plenty of it! With the spa being exclusive, it’s such a fab experience!

Thanks to the team, we will 100% be back!

We had the most amazing day at Beckside Spa Retreat, and Jo was the most fabulous host! We’ve been so excited to visit and it completely exceeded our expectations! Every single detail was thoughtfully considered, and we felt completely relaxed and at ease from the moment we arrived.

The privacy and stunning idyllic countryside surroundings were just perfect – what more could you ask for?! We started with a delicious vitamin smoothie and a coffee before enjoying our treatments. We both chose the back, shoulder and neck massage, which was pure luxury and allowed us to drift into our own little worlds. 😌

Afterward we had some delicious wood-fired pizza, fresh salad and sweet treats, all accompanied by a bottle of Prosecco. Then it was time for the hot tub, which is the biggest we’ve ever seen – you can even swim in it! We even had The Holiday playing on the biggest screen while we were chilling in the tub.

To top off our day, we fed some carrots to the adorable alpacas which was such a treat! Thank you again Jo for a perfect day. Wish we could come every weekend – we’re already planning our return for our 30th birthdays! 10000/10 xxx

My daughter and I visited Beckside Spa Retreat for a Whispering Angel spa package as a birthday treat, and to sum up our experience in one word.. AMAZING! We had a perfect day, relaxing and being pampered in a beautiful countryside location. We enjoyed a luxurious massage, followed by delicious woodfired pizzas and cakes. A huge thank you to Jo for making us feel so welcome and special. We can’t recommend the retreat highly enough and we look forward to booking another spa day soon!

Whilst staying at the holiday cottage I booked myself a little treat and had my first ever hot stone massage. It was amazing. Jo created a very beautiful, relaxing and welcoming experience. Would definitely recommend. Just a shame I don’t live closer! Thank you!

Me and my fiancée went to Beckside this weekend for the couples package. Words can’t describe how lovely the spa is, felt relaxed from the moment I saw the spa. Joe was lovely and the massage we both received was one of the best if not the best I’ve had. Would highly recommend visiting Beckside.

Me and my partner booked the whispering angel package as a couple, which included a 30 minute massage each. It was a beautiful experience and so very relaxing. Would absolutely recommend. The food, service, and treatment was 10/10.

Thank you so much Jo for making our couple spa experience really special. Very relaxed from the moment we arrived and Jo was very attentive without being intrusive. Had a fantastic Dermaplaning facial which was new to me but made my face feel fantastic. Whilst I was pampered my husband spent time in the sauna and spa pool. Food and wine were fantastic. Very good value for what you get. Will be back for another session in the spring.

I had the pleasure of spending an evening recently Beckside Spa Retreat and wow what an experience .. I arrived with two dear friends late one afternoon to this wonderful piece of heaven in the cowling countryside .. the alpacas greeted us and so did Joanne the owner, the attention to detail was immense . We had a meditation healing session followed by wonderful treatments .. and stone baked pizzas and salad and cakes and wine !! Lots to eat … As 3 perimenapausal women navigating a business and home life this was just what we all needed .. self care has never been so important and for the price of a day out drinking in Leeds I know what I would rather do any day of the week now 🤷🏻‍♀️ .. Thank you Joanne for a wonderful experience we will be back ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

A friend brought me here for a birthday treat and i was blown away….

This really is all it says and more, from the moment we arrived I felt relaxed. Everything is tasteful and high end and I felt truly pampered.

Jo and her team made sure we had everything we needed and we never felt rushed or left wanting more of anything. The surrounding views and the alpacas just added an even more special day.

Just get this place booked if you need some time out I cannot recommend highly enough!!

I recently had the pleasure of spending a Saturday at Beckside Spa Retreat, and I can’t recommend it enough! The atmosphere is incredibly tranquil and beautiful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

From the moment I arrived, I felt a wave of relaxation wash over me. The serene surroundings and soothing ambiance set the tone for a rejuvenating experience. The spa offers an array of treatments, but the highlight for me was the outstanding hot stone massage provided by Jo. Her expertise and attention to detail are truly exceptional.

Jo’s warm personality and professionalism create an inviting environment where you can fully unwind and indulge in self-care. Every aspect of the retreat, from the facilities, food to the services, was top-notch. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway that offers relaxation and pampering, Beckside Spa Retreat is the place to be!

What a lovely spa! Our autumn spa day was so lovely. Indoor and outdoor log burners, sauna and a really lovely jacuzzi. Jo was super attentive and the treatments were so relaxing. The vitamin booster shot on arrival and the Angel Cards on departure were so thoughtful. We choose to have lunch outside with the blankets and lovely thick dressing gowns, this meant we had a visit from the Alpacas! Every detail has been thought out and cannot fault Jo’s attention to detail. We will be back!

Wow, what can I say! Jo has created a wonderful relaxing spa retreat and has thought of everything.

We visited with friends and were treated like royalty for our whole stay. From welcome drinks and fluffy hot water bottles to cosy dressing gowns and slippers and Prosecco in the jacuzzi hot tub… everything was just perfect!

The facial from Jo was luxurious, as was the wood fired pizza for lunch!

The whole retreat is peaceful and relaxing and with the added bonus of the friendly alpacas… it’s the perfect place to visit!

An incredibly relaxing experience, surrounded by Yorkshire beauty. You know it’s a special place when even in autumn drizzle you feel amazing sat in the jacuzzi with the yummy feeling of a warm body and nip on the cheeks. Watching the alpacas and sipping prosecco…this is how I do Sundays now!

You will not be disappointed with a visit to Beckside Spa, your hosts are gracious. Jo is extremely good at what she does and we felt welcome and looked after.

And the toilet was heated.

What more could you want in a treat?!

Firstly I have to speak out on the hospitality side. Jo is outstanding and treats everyone like a king or queen, nothing at all is a bother to her. Now onto the cottage it’s as beautiful inside as it is outside and immaculately clean. The little personal touches you receive are second to none. There’s not a detail Jo hasn’t thought of. The alpaca clan are amazing make sure you give them some fuss to and they even offer walking the alpacas which is brilliant. The spa makes you feel relaxed and brand new and Jo definitely knows what she’s doing and so reasonably priced. Finishing our stay tomorrow and already booked back up for my birthday. Thank you see you again soon.

This spa is set in the most beautiful and relaxing location. Jo is so welcoming, friendly and professional. The massage was one of the best i have had! I will definitely be booking again! Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing experience, i can’t wait to come again!

Extremely well presented and very clean, warm and comfortable with all the ‘mod cons’ you could ask for. High evidence of attention to detail, and all the little extras were well received. Lovely location, not overlooked at all and we able to enjoy music, fizz and bubbles in the hot tub without any chance of disturbing or being disturbed by anyone. Already planning to return

The cottage was very clean, well maintained and a delight to stay in. Very relaxing environment and the outdoor area is lovely. Jo & Ian are great and the alpacas are a welcome addition to an already great place.

Set in the heart of spectacular Pennine scenery, great base for exploration of the Yorkshire Dales and the Pendle mill towns of Lancashire, and for some of the best walks in England. Or just stay at the cottage, enjoy its well kitted out garden and relax in the hot tub. We had everything and more by staying there. 10/10, perfect. Can’t wait to come back for the Spa Retreat!
